Move

Were back home. Lucas did great on the way to Md and on the way back. Couldnt have asked for anything better :) It feels really great to sleep in my own bed! But, we do miss the fam. Also, I wanna give a shout out to all the people who I never knew read this thing!! I wish Lucas was awake when we came to visit you all..maybe next time!

The day we got back we toured a house on base..it was perfect! We get the keys in 2 weeks and our stuff gets moved June 6th! I will miss living in the city, but this move will make life so much easier.

3 MONTHS

3 months has gone by so quickly. Technically hes not 3 months until tommorow but we will be in MARYLAND! And im not bringing the monkey with me so I did it today! I asked him today if he was excited for his trip and he said YES! (In a squeal of delight :) ) Im definitley nervous about the trip but im sure it will be just fine. We are all packed and ready.

Hmmm lets see..the biggest milestone of his 3 months of life was that he figured out how to roll over! Now when i put him on his back he pretty much rolls over right away. Also, since hes discovered this hes been doing SO much better holding him self up while hes on his belly. Its crazy how quickly they progress. Another milestone would be his giggles! It is the cutest thing weve ever heard. He wont have another doctors appt for another month, but I think hes about 14 lbs.

He did it!

We knew it would be soon, but the day I write my last post!? Yep last night he rolled over from back to belly...TWICE! I didnt get it on video though. So this morning I put him on his back and made sure to have the camera going, and he did it again. He seemed so proud of himself! He got really frustrated though because he tried to roll back over to his back and couldnt get it.

Milestones

Okay so, We think he is going to roll over soon. Hes always on his side and gets so close sometimes! He has rolled over once from his belly to his back, but im pretty sure that was just a fluke. He giggled again! Tim wasnt around to hear it this time, but it was just as cute as the first time! He also laughs in his sleep..its so funny to watch and hear because its like a real laugh coming from that little body! Yesterday he started grabbing at our faces. I love all these milestones and watching him develop, but its also sad...hes growing up too fast! Im getting nervous about the flight home. I hate long flights to begin with, but im sure with a 3 mo old it will be just as rough. Hes going to be sitting in our laps. Hes not a fan of sleeping in our arms and id really like for him to sleep most of the flight since it is an overnight flight. Im hoping that if I bring the boppy he will be able to sleep a little. Any advice???

Trying to roll over...

2 months!

Today Lucas had his 2 month checkup, which included his first shots :( He is currently sleeping it off right now. He weighs 12lb 11oz and is 24.2 in tall. He certainly does not have a problem growing! Hopefully he doesnt grow too much more before we come home!! Everything was perfect though, with his appointment. They said he'll probably be sleeping alot today because of the shots, which is probably best.
