March Photo a Day

This might be something that no one that reads this cares about, but thats okay because its something fun for me to do to get my creative juices flowing and to get some good practice in with my camera :) Its actually supposed to be for instagram/twitter....but I dont have an iphone so im gonna do it here!

Today is "up"!!

We went to the park today so I figured that would be a perfect place for todays photo! I really like this photo. I tryed to get him to smile, but when the camera is out, thats a hard thing to do! I honestly dont know what hes looking at. It may have been steeze, but I was laying on the ground so who knows! :) Happy March everyone!!

Birthday!

It was a nice little birthday he had. A spouse on base made us a cake and him a little smash cake! It turned out soo cute! He was very polite with the cake and didnt get too messy. Its funny how he just went right in for it. Cant believe we have a toddler now!

12 months!!

Here it is...last monkey photo! Over the last month, hes learned to dance! Its a cute little shake hes got going on. He gives ME highfives and no one else lol. He waves. He says hi on a rare occasion. His 1 yr checkup was today. he weighs 20.11 and is still in the 20th percentile. Hes 29.8 in and is in the 30th percentile. Again, shes not worried because he is so active and is growing, just not at the rate he was in the beginning. He had a great birthday today and i'll make a seperate post about it tommorow cuz this momma is tired!

January 2012

Due date

Today, one year ago, my due date came and went with no signs that "baby v" wanted to make his way into the world. I was thinking the other day how I dont really remember what it felt like having that huge belly. Its only been a year. Its sad how quickly you can forget things. Looking at this picture though, brings back the feeling of him moving around like a little alien in my body. I do remember that feeling and kind of miss it (dont get any ideas, there are NO plans for any more babies anytime soon!) Although I miss it, it is soooo much fun watching him grow and learn. Hes got such a big personality and I love it! Soon, my baby will be ONE! That is so hard to believe. Wasnt this picture taken like yesterday!? ;)

11 months

One more month and this boy will be a year old! Its crazy that were getting into toddlerhood, but, its so much fun! We just love watching him learn new things. He has such a big personality and im sure its only going to grow more. Over this last month hes learned to say uh oh. Sometimes we can get him to wave and I swear he was sayin Hi the other day. Hes still a clapping fool and will clap at everything!
