Our Arizona trip!

We started off our trip in Flagstaff! The big thing we did was go to the grand canyon. I have been before but Tim and of course Lucas never has. It was just as incredible as the first time!

The next day we headed to prescott, with a stop in Sedona. Sedona was hot hot hot, but so gorgeous. The red rocks were huge and so neat to see.

Next we were on to Phoenix for 2 nights! We stayed in Scottsdale, which was SUCH a cute city! Very clean and new looking. They had a ginormous mall there and a cute little area called Old Town Scottsdale. We went to the Phoenix zoo, buuuut I forgot my camera. Woops! I was really surprised how green phoenix was. They had some deserty areas but I assumed it would be ALL desert. We also caught a Dbacks game which was alot of fun. We were able to keep him occupied for 7 whole innings! Thats an improvement from the last baseball game we took him to! Our hotel in Scottsdale had a nice pool which Lucas loved!

Lastly we spent the last 2 nights in Tucson. I was so excited about seeing sooo many cactuses everywhere! I mean, when you think of Arizona, isnt your first thought...CACTUS!? For me it was anyway.

We went to the Sonora Desert Living Museum. It was sooooo hot. But we made it through ;)

My favorite part was the hummingbirds! Can you believe how close I got!?

We had such a great trip and it was so nice to get away from this base for a little while! We both really enjoyed the heat as well :) I have many more photos that I'll post on the picture website.
