Due date

Today, one year ago, my due date came and went with no signs that "baby v" wanted to make his way into the world. I was thinking the other day how I dont really remember what it felt like having that huge belly. Its only been a year. Its sad how quickly you can forget things. Looking at this picture though, brings back the feeling of him moving around like a little alien in my body. I do remember that feeling and kind of miss it (dont get any ideas, there are NO plans for any more babies anytime soon!) Although I miss it, it is soooo much fun watching him grow and learn. Hes got such a big personality and I love it! Soon, my baby will be ONE! That is so hard to believe. Wasnt this picture taken like yesterday!? ;)

11 months

One more month and this boy will be a year old! Its crazy that were getting into toddlerhood, but, its so much fun! We just love watching him learn new things. He has such a big personality and im sure its only going to grow more. Over this last month hes learned to say uh oh. Sometimes we can get him to wave and I swear he was sayin Hi the other day. Hes still a clapping fool and will clap at everything!

Christmas 2011!

Id say Lucas' first christmas was a success :)He woke up cranky as usual, but after breakfast his mood turned right around and we turned on a pandora christmas station and got down to it. He seemed a little intrested in the unwrapping of the gifts which was cool! We didnt get him much but I think he loves it all. We spent hours afterward playing with everything.

Flashback Friday

35 weeks Pregnant

This picture was taken one year ago today. It doesnt even feel like it was that long ago! I just finished wrapping that little nugget inside my bellys first christmas gifts. Time sure does fly by even though we all wish it wouldnt. Cant wait to see what he does christmas morning :)

Coming home

Lucas is becoming a BIG mommas boy, naturally, since im home all day with him. He used to go to anyone and not have a problem, but now thats getting harder and harder. Alot of times he will be really angry if I even leave him with Tim. But on ocassion hes fine, that is, until I come home. I started standing at the door and listening to see if hes crying, and he wouldnt be. But the second I open the door, he starts walking up to me sobbing. Tim said that he will be perfectly fine until he hears me open the door and that his face is so funny when he hears it. So, the last 2 times I went out we decided I would text Tim and let him know I was back and he would videotape him so I could see how funny he reacts. This is what we got... P.S make sure your sound is up all the way, the audio is kinda low. We get a kick out of these. Enjoy!

10 Months!

Well we all know how fast this is going, so lets just get right into it :) In his 10th month he has started clapping! He absolutely looves to clap! When were watching Ellen and the audience claps, he claps with them. Its really cute! We have been working on getting him to wave. He kinda has it. But, its still a work in progress! Lately when he gets mad, he starts to growl. I have no idea where that came from, but its kind of funny. Hes also starting to throw fits. Thats really fun...not! Were pretty sure he knows NO, but he just thinks its a game. Hes getting a personality which can be challenging at times, but its still lots of fun :)
